Contact groups have been phased out. You can create a category and filter by that category as a workaround. To create a group to use for group chats, see Start a group chat.

  1. Select People in the left pane.

  2. Select Generic Ellipsis button More options next to a name to add, and choose Add category button icon. ​​​​​​​Add category.

  3. If this is the first one for the category, type a category name. If not, select the category to add the person to. 

To list just your group (category), select the name from Categories in the left pane. Tip: To delete a category, choose it, then select Generic Ellipsis button More options next to each name and uncheck the category. When you remove the last one, the category is deleted.
