  1. Select the cell that has the drop-down list you applied on the worksheet.

  2. On the Data tab, select  Data validation button Data Validation in the Data Tools group.

  3. On the Settings tab, choose the Source box, and then change your list items as needed.

  4. Select OK.

Tip: To allow blank list items, clear the box next to Ignore blank.
