To format text inside the box, select the text, and on the Home tab, use the formatting options in the Font group.

To format the text box itself, including adding or removing the border, select the box, and select the Shape Format tab that appears.

To link multiple text boxes together so text flows from one box to another, select a box and on the Shape format tab, select Create Link. Select an empty box to flow text to.Â

To move a text box, select it, point to an edge so the pointer becomes aÂ
 four-headed arrow, and drag the box to a new location. -
To copy a text box, click the edge of the box, and press Ctrl+C. Press Ctrl+V to paste the box.

To delete the entire text box, including text inside it, click the edge of the box and press Delete on your keyboard.

To format text inside a text box, double-click the box so the Drawing pane appears. Edit the words or select existing text and use the Text formatting options to change layout, font, or color.
