If you have already configured Outlook for S/MIME, you can use the following steps to export a digital certificate. 

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Select File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings.

  3. Select Email Security.
    Use the Trust Center to export your digital certificate.

  4. Under Digital IDs, select Import/Export.

  5. Select Export Your Digital ID to a file.

  6. Choose Select and then select the correct certificate.

  7. Select Browse and choose a location to save the file.

  8. Enter your password and then click OK.

  9. Create a new email message and attach the exported PFX file. You can then send the email message to yourself.
