Options

Match case

Specifies that all found matches must have the exact combination of uppercase and lowercase letters specified in the Find what box.

Note: Matches the case of letters used in your drawing as they were originally typed, regardless of whether the text was subsequently formatted using Small Caps or All Caps formatting.

Match character width

Specifies that all found matches must have the exact character width specified in the Find what box. For example, the Katakana alphabet can be represented with a narrow character or a wide character.

Find whole words only

Specifies that all found matches must be complete words and not parts of larger words. For example, if you type for in the Find what box, all instances of "for" are found but "forest" is ignored.

Match Kana type

Note: This option applies to Asian text, and is available only when the Kana find and replace feature is enabled. To enable this feature, on the Tools menu, click Options. On the Regional tab, click the Kana find and replace arrow, and click Show.
