Getting to know Teams for your personal life

Teams for your personal life allows you to keep in touch with the people closest to you, as well as keep track of files, calendar appointments, and more.

Along the bottom of the screen, Teams is organized into tabs. The following is a quick breakdown of what each tab does.

The tabs for Activity, Chat, Calendar, Files and More in Teams

The activity tab in Teams

Select the Activity tab to view recent reactions and @mentions from your group and one-to-one chats. Learn more about your Activity feed

The Chat tab in Teams

Select the Chat tab to view and access your group and one-to-one chats. Learn how to send and receive messages

The Calendar tab in Teams

Select the Calendar tab to display your calendar, including events you’ve been sent through group and one-to-one chats. Learn more about your group calendar

The files tab in Teams

Select the Files tab to explore your OneDrive files, which you can access and share from Teams. Learn more about sharing files from OneDrive

The Calls tab in Teams

Select the Calls tab to access your call history, as well as make calls to your friends and groups in Teams. Learn more about calling in Teams

The Safe tab in Teams

Select the Safe tab to set up and access your Safe, where you can store your valuable and sensitive information across any of your devices. Learn more about using Safe

The Camera tab in Teams

Select the Camera tab to launch Camera, where you can capture, edit, and share pictures with your contacts and groups. Learn more about Camera

The Tasks tab in Teams

Select the Tasks tab to view your individual task list, as well as any group task lists from chats. You can also create task lists and tasks from the Tasks tab. Learn more about Tasks

Tip: You can reorder the way your tabs appear. Select More  More options button , then select Reorder. You can drag and drop your tabs to appear in any order you wish.
