Shared Albums make it easy to collect your group’s best moments in one place, without flooding the chat. Whether you're starting a new album or adding to an existing one, here’s how to do it.

Shared Album creation is currently available on iOS and coming soon to Android.  

Create a New Shared Album  

Option A: From the Chat  

  1. Tap the {+} icon

  2. Select one or more photos you want to include

  3. Tap "Create album" in the bottom left

  4. Give your album a title

  5. Tap Create to finish and share it with the group screen shots on how to create a shared album from chat

Option B: From Group Settings via Albums

  1. Go to your group’s Settings and scroll down to “Albums”

  2. Tap “Add” if it’s the first album

  3. Otherwise, tap “Albums” and click the “+” in the top right

  4. Enter a title for your album

Option C: From Group Settings via Gallery

  1. Go to your group’s Settings and scroll down and tap “Gallery”

  2. If it's the first Album, you will be prompted to "Create New Album" Screens shots on how to create a shared albums from gallery tab in settings

Add Photos to an Existing Album  

Option A: From the Compose

  1. Tap the {+} icon

  2. Select one or more photos

  3. Tap Add to Album in the bottom left and choose the album screen shots on how to add photos to album ​​​​​​​

Option B: From the Chat Thread  

  1. Find the shared album in your chat

  2. Tap Add Yours on the Shared Album Card

  3. Tap the "+Add Yours" button

  4. Select your photos

  5. Tap Add to finish screens to show how to add photos via chat thread

    Share anywhere

    Tap the share icon on any album and grab the album link, create a QR code or share directly to Snapchat or an IG story!Screen shots on how to share a link to a shared album
