How do I change a group's owner in GroupMe?

Select the group you created or own, then select the group avatar (profile picture).

Select Settings  , then select Change Owner.

Choose a new owner from the group's member list, then select Yes to confirm the ownership change.

You'll receive a confirmation of the ownership change. Select Ok to dismiss the confirmation.

Select the group you created or own, then tap the group avatar (profile picture).

Tap members list  .

Choose a participant who you want to give ownership to.

Tap Make owner, then tap Confirm to change the group owner.

You'll receive a confirmation of the ownership change.

Select the group you created or own, then tap the group avatar (profile picture).

Tap members list  .

Make sure that the new owner is already a member of the group, then choose who you want to give ownership to. 

Tap Make Owner, then tap Yes to change the group owner.

You'll receive a confirmation of the ownership change.

Hover over the participant who you want to give ownership to and select Make Owner.

Select Yes to change the group owner.

You'll receive a confirmation of the ownership change. Select Okay to dismiss the confirmation.
