  1. Select a cell to insert a comment on and on the Review tab, choose  Teams New Comment icon New Comment

  2. Enter text in the comment box and select Comment post button image Post.

  3. To show comments or notes: On the Review tab, choose Excel Show Comments button icon Show Comments. On the Review tab, select  Notes button Notes and choose  Show all notes button Show All Notes.

Tip: You can also right-click a cell and select  Teams New Comment icon New Comment or  Teams New Note icon New Note to open a new comment or note.
