Select some cells that contain stock tickers or company names.

On the Data tab, selectÂ
 Stocks in the Data Types gallery. -
Excel converts tickers or names into Stock data types. If not recognized, select the correct result from the Data Selector pane. The cell displaysÂ
 and the name once recognized. -
Press the CTRL key, and then choose a field, like Price.
