ISSUE

When a Microsoft 365 administrator attempts to deploy a product under the SaaS category from AppSource using the integrated apps - Microsoft 365 admin center, they receive a deployment error suggesting to deploy the SaaS bundle individually from Microsoft or the Vendor Marketplace.

Steps to repro:

  1. Sign in to Integrated apps - Microsoft 365 admin center using the global administrator account.

  2. Select Get apps.

  3. Scroll down to Products filter and choose SaaS.

  4. Attempt to install any SaaS application, for example: Adobe Acrobat for Microsoft 365.

  5. Receive the error "Deployment error: We are unable to initiate the deployment. To deploy the app, go to the website where it is hosted." Office Deployment error

Affected builds: All builds of Microsoft 365.

STATUS: INVESTIGATING

The issue is being investigated.

WORKAROUND

Install the application from the marketplace by selecting the Continue button.
