Join a team

You can immediately join a public team. To join a private team, you must request to join and wait for the owner's approval. 

1. In combined view, select Teams and Channels at the bottom of the Chat pane, or select Teams in the left pane in separate view.

2. At the top of the Teams or Chat pane, select   New items and choose Join team.

3. Pick from the list, or type a team name into  Search teams and press Enter.

4. Hover over the team you want to join and select Join team.
