This End User Notice is provided to you as a notification of legal terms applicable to your use of the Microsoft Teams Exploratory experience. We refer to any trial of a commercially available service and software offered under this End User Notice as the “Teams Exploratory experience.”
Your use of the Teams Exploratory experience is governed by the Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement, which includes the Online Services Terms and is entered between Microsoft Corporation and your organization. The administrator of your organization has also been provided with this End User Notice.
Teams Exploratory experience is offered as a Limited Offering as defined in the Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement. As such, the length of the period during which you may use Teams Exploratory experience shall be up to one year, except as may be otherwise specified in the documentation and marketing materials you received for Teams Exploratory experience. After that period ends, your rights to access or use Teams Exploratory experience will end, or may otherwise be modified, as specified in the Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement.
YOUR ORGANIZATION HAS FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR ACCOUNT AND ASSOCIATED DATA. THE TEAMS EXPLORATORY EXPERIENCE IS INTENDED FOR USE BY USERS WHO SHARE THE SAME EMAIL DOMAIN. WHEN YOU USE AN EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED BY AN ORGANIZATION TO ACCESS TEAMS EXPLORATORY EXPERIENCE, THE ORGANIZATION, AS THE OWNER OF THE DOMAIN ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, MAY (AS OF YOUR FIRST ACCESS OR IN THE FUTURE): (A) CONTROL AND ADMINISTER YOUR USER ACCOUNT FOR THE TRIAL, INCLUDING MODIFYING OR TERMINATING YOUR ACCESS TO TEAMS EXPLORATORY EXPERIENCE; AND (B) ACCESS AND PROCESS CUSTOMER DATA (ANY DATA IN YOUR TEAMS EXPLORATORY EXPERIENCE ACCOUNT), INCLUDING THE CONTENT OF YOUR COMMUNICATIONS AND FILES YOU USE.
Please direct your privacy inquiries, or requests about the data to the administrator of your organization.
By participating in and using the Teams Exploratory experience you agree to (a) adhere to your organization's guidelines and policies regarding the use of the Teams Exploratory experience, including the content you post to the Teams Exploratory experience, and (b) allow Microsoft to contact you at your organization’s domain email address regarding the trial.
If your organization elects not to purchase a subscription to Microsoft Teams before expiration of the Term for this Teams Exploratory experience a) Microsoft has no obligation to return Customer Data to your organization; b) Microsoft will retain such Customer Data for at least 60 days after the expiration of the Teams Exploratory experience; and Microsoft will make commercially reasonable efforts to work with your organization to export any such Customer Data if requested.
