  1. Select the View tab, then select  The Slide Sorter button in PowerPoint. Slide Sorter.

  2. Click and hold the slide thumbnail you want to move, then drag it to the desired position.

    (To move multiple slides at once, press and hold the Ctrl key while you select them with the mouse, then drag them.) 

  3. Release the mouse button to drop the slide in the new location.
