Important Access Services 2010 and Access Services 2013 are being removed from the next release of SharePoint. We recommend you do not create new web apps, and migrate your existing apps to an alternative platform, such as Microsoft Power Apps.
This article explains how to move an Access web app currently hosted on Microsoft 365 or SharePoint Online to an on-premise SharePoint Server. You can only perform this procedure if the following are all true:
Your on-premise SharePoint Server is using SharePoint Server 2016.
Your SQL Server version for your on-premise SharePoint Server is SQL Server 2016.
Move your Access web app to an on-premise SharePoint Server
The first step in moving your Access web app is to create an Access app package which contains all the needed structure and data. See Create an Access app package for a detailed walk-through of the steps involved.
Note: The maximum size for an app package is 100 MB. The packaging process does compress the data so you can likely save larger databases as an app package.
The next step in moving your Access web app is to upload your Access app package to a site on your SharePoint Server. See Upload an Access app to a site for a detailed walk-through of the steps involved.
If you want to upload your Access app package to your SharePoint Server's App Catalog, see Distribute an Access app in your App Catalog or the SharePoint Store.
