Missing status or profile can be caused by many things, including migration from Skype. Here are some things to try.

Sign out and sign in again. Select your profile picture or initials, and then choose Sign out.

Reset your status. See Reset your Teams status.

Make sure Microsoft 365 is up to date.
 - 
              
If you recently lost your status or profile after updating your Operating system or hardware, it's possible Teams has corrupted files. If all other suggestions fail, try repairing or reinstalling Teams.
