How to translate transcripts in videos

Overview

Working in a multi-lingual organization?  Make your content more inclusive by creating videos that your coworkers can easily view and understand in their primary language. Transcript translations give you the option to translate the transcript and closed captions of videos into over 100 supported languages. Once translated, viewers can choose the translated transcript and captions while watching the video.

Microsoft 365 provides a robust and affordable pay-as-you-go solution for your video transcript translation needs.

Prerequisites

To use pay-as-you go, you need:

  • An Azure subscription in the same tenant as Microsoft 365

  • An Azure resource group in that subscription

If you already have these resources for other purposes, you can also use them with document processing.

For information about how to create an Azure subscription, see: Create your initial Azure subscriptions.

For information about how to create an Azure resource group, see: Manage Azure resource groups by using the Azure portal.
