By default, OneDrive saves your files online. To save them to your PC or another device, you may save a file offline or download your OneDrive files to your computer.
From within an Office app (such as Word or Excel):

Select File and choose Save As, then select your OneDrive or This PC.

Name your file and decide where to save it.

Decide whether to download a copy to your computer or upload a copy to OneDrive.
