Select the object you want to move backwards.

On the Home tab, select
 Arrange. -
Choose the Send option you want:

Send to Back: Makes the selected object the very last item in the layer order.

Send Backward: Moves the selected object backward one step in the layer order.

Tip: At the end of the Arrange menu is the Selection Pane option. Choose it to see a list of all elements laid out on your slide, in order from front to back. In that list, you can change the order by dragging an element from one position to another.
