Sender Screening allows you to control which senders can send messages to your inbox. This guide will help you enable and manage sender screening.

Enabling Sender Screening

1. Go to Settings > Account > [Select Consumer Account] > Sender Screening > Toggle Sender Screening On

2. Emails from unscreened senders will now appear at the top of your Inbox. All senders who are not on your allowed, or blocked lists, are deemed "unscreened".

3. Clicking on the unscreened emails at the top of your Inbox will bring you into the Sender Screener. From here, you can triage each new sender you receive emails from as "allowed" or "blocked".

4. All future emails from "allowed" senders will end up in your Inbox. All future emails from "blocked" senders will never arrive in your Inbox.

Managing Your Allowed and Blocked Lists

1. Go to Settings > Account > [Select Consumer Account] > Sender Screening > Manage Senders.

2. You can now click into your Allowed and Blocked lists and move senders between these two lists. These lists will be reflective of your Safe and Blocked sender lists on Outlook for Web in Settings > Mail > Junk email.
