  1. Position your cursor over the table and select the Table handle button four arrow table handle that appears in the upper-left corner of the table. If you don't have a table yet, add a table.

  2. Go to Table Layout and select View table gridlines button View Gridlines.

Important: When viewing a table with gridlines, make sure to first turn off table borders so you can see the gridlines.
