What is Teams Exploratory?

The Teams Exploratory Trial is a way for people to explore and experience Microsoft Teams for a limited time without needing a paid subscription. You will have access to Teams chats, meetings, channels and more, to communicate and collaborate with anyone, at any time. 

Sign up for the Teams Exploratory experience by signing into Teams from desktop or web at teams.microsoft.com.

Enjoy your Teams trial for up to one month. If you want to continue using Teams after the trial period ends, your admin will need to assign you a paid Teams license.

How long does the Teams Exploratory experience last?

The self-service Teams Exploratory experience lasts for one month for both Enterprise agreement (EA) and non-Enterprise Agreement customers.​​​​​​​ The self-service trial period begins when you sign up for Teams Exploratory. 

What should I do at the end of the trial period?

At the end of the Teams Exploratory trial period, ask your Admin to assign you a paid Teams license. Make sure you do this before the subscription expires to avoid disruptions to your Teams experience. ​​​​​​​
