Snap to grid

1. Select View, and in the Show group, select the dialog-box launcher .

2. Select Snap object to grid and Display grid on screen to see the grid on your screen.

   

3. Use the gridlines to align your objects.

1. On the View menu, go to Grid and Guides > Snap to Grid.

2. Use the guidelines to align your objects as you drag them on the canvas.

Snap to grid isn't currently possible in PowerPoint for the web. You can, however, use snap to grid in the PowerPoint desktop app.

• To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select  Editing and choose Open in Desktop App.
