  1. Select the list you want to sort.

  2. On the Home tab, select  Button to sort a list alphabetically Sort.

  3. In the Sort Text dialog box that appears, set Sort by to Paragraphs and choose to sort Text, Numbers, or Dates.

  4. Choose Ascending (A-Z or small to large) or Descending (Z-A or large to small) and select OK.
