Sync a notebook

OneNote automatically syncs your changes when you are online. If needed, you can sync manually.

1. Select the File menu, select Info, and select   View Sync Status.

2. In the dialog box that appears, next to the notebook you want to sync, select Sync Now.

Tip: If you're not seeing content that you know should be in your notebook, see Notebook not syncing.

Your changes are automatically synced in OneNote for the web.

• To check the sync status, select   Sync Status in the upper-right corner.
  
  A check mark indicates that your latest changes have been synced.

OneNote automatically syncs your changes. 

• To check the sync status, select   Sync Status in the upper-right corner.

• To sync manually, on the File menu, select:

  • Sync This Notebook.

  • Sync All Notebooks.
