Sync a shared mailbox in new Outlook

In new Outlook, incoming emails aren't automatically synchronized in the Inbox folders of shared mailboxes added by automapping. You can trigger synchronization manually by selecting Sync in the View section of the Outlook ribbon or by selecting the folder you want to sync. 

If you need the mailbox to sync automatically and receive notifications, consider adding the shared mailbox as an account.
