When you sync your Samsung reminders with Microsoft To Do, your phone reminders created from Bixby, calls, notes, and messages will show up in To Do. You can manage them online, on your PC, and in the browser and PC apps of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

  1. Open the Samsung reminder app > Settings.

  2. Tap Sync with Microsoft To Do, sign in with your Microsoft account, and accept the permission request.

Once you sign in with your Microsoft account, you’ll see three tabs in the Samsung Reminder app. The To Do tab syncs with Microsoft To Do; the Reminders tab syncs with Samsung Cloud; and the All tab shows a combined view of tasks from the Reminders tab and To Do tab.

Make sure you set To Do as your default list so reminders created from outside the Samsung reminder app (like reminders from calls or Bixby) are synced with To Do. To do that, open the Samsung reminder app's settings > Save Reminders from other apps to > Microsoft To Do.

Note: Currently, image reminders from Gallery and parking location reminders from Bixby aren’t saved in the To Do tab, even when it’s set as the default. They’ll be saved in the Reminders tab.

You can currently only sync one To Do list with the Samsung reminder app at a given time.
To change which list syncs with Samsung Reminder, tap on the To Do tab > > Choose list to sync, then pick the list you want to sync.

Microsoft To Do can be synced with the Samsung reminder app on Galaxy models with Android 10 or higher. The Samsung reminder app can sync with To Do on personal Microsoft accounts as well as work and school accounts.

To stop the Samsung reminder app from syncing with Microsoft To Do, open the Samsung reminder app's settings > Sync with Microsoft To Do > Sign out.

To revoke Samsung's data permission access to your Microsoft account, open the Microsoft account consent options to see a list of apps and services you’ve given access to. Then, select Reminder > Remove these permissions.

  • The To Do tab in the Samsung reminder app shows alert types, place alerts, and colors, but these aren’t visible in the Microsoft To Do app.

  • The Samsung reminder app offers checklists and minute and hour repetition, but these aren't visible in the To Do tab.

  • The To Do app supports task importance, due dates, steps, task groups, file and photo attachments, and the ability to add tasks to My Day. These aren’t shown in the To Do tab in the Samsung reminder app.

First, make sure that the Sync with Microsoft To Do toggle in the Samsung reminder app's settings is on. If it’s not, try syncing manually by tapping Sync with Microsoft To Do > Sync now.

Note: If Sync using Wi-Fi only is on, your tab will only sync when you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
