Turn gridlines on or off

1. Select the View menu.

2. Check or clear the Gridlines check box.

Visible gridlines aren't currently possible in PowerPoint for the web. You can, however, turn on visible gridlines in the PowerPoint desktop app.

• To open the desktop app, at the top of the ribbon, select  Editing and choose Open in Desktop App.
