Safe mode disables add-ins, allowing you to open classic Outlook and use email even when Outlook isn't working correctly.Â
To turn off safe mode:

Select File > Exit to close Outlook.

Restart Outlook.
Classic Outlook will start in normal mode unless there's still a problem opening the application. If there's still a problem, you can try to repair Microsoft 365. For instructions, see Repair an Office application.
