In classic Outlook, to place your important emails in a "Focused" tab, from your Inbox, select View > Show Focused Inbox.
The Focused and Other tabs appear at the top of your mailbox:

To return to seeing "All" messages, select Show Focused Inbox again.
Tip:Â If you don't see Show Focused Inbox, be sure you're in your inbox folder.Â

In new Outlook, on the View tab, selectÂ
 View settings. -
Select Mail > Layout.

Under Focused Inbox, select whether you want your messages sorted into Focused and Other.

To toggle the feature on or off in Outlook for Mac​​​​​​​, on the View menu, select Turn on Focused Inbox.
