The ABS function returns the absolute value of a number, that is, the distance from zero.

Example 1: Returns 10 if A1 contains the number -10:=ABS(A1)

Example 2: Returns 0 if A1 contains the number 0:=ABS(A1)

Example 3: Returns 10 if A1 contains the number 10:=ABS(A1)
