If you're trying to view medium, large, or extra-large icons in File Explorer and you're not seeing thumbnail pictures, you may need to update the setting.

In Explorer, select the View tab, and then select Options > Change folder and search options.
In Windows 11, on the View tab, select the ellipsis (...), and then choose Options, -
On the View tab in the Folder Options dialog, clear the Always show icons, never thumbnails check box.

Select Apply > OK. If needed, restart your computer.
