You are using PowerPoint in Microsoft 365 (the subscription version of PowerPoint).
If you want more details, go to the File tab and select Account. There you'll see three sections with more information:Â

Top of page: This section tells you whether your copy is a subscription or standalone version, who it's registered to, and the apps included.Â

On the About PowerPoint button: Here's the release number, like 2105 (May 2021), and build number, such as 14026.201. It's usually only used by Microsoft internally or if you belong to Office Insiders.Â

In the About PowerPoint dialog This is the full and sub version number, such as 16.0.1. This number is often used when discussing features and upgrades. You'll also see whether it's a 32-bit or 64-bit version.Â
You are using PowerPoint in Microsoft 365 for Mac, the subscription version of PowerPoint.

If you want more details, go to the PowerPoint menu and select About PowerPoint. There you'll see your version number—something like 16.62—followed by a build number in parentheses.

If you want more details on all of your Office Subscription apps, go to Office.com, select your profile picture or initials, and go to View account > Subscriptions. There you'll see whether your app is a subscription or standalone version, who it's registered to, and the apps included.Â
PowerPoint for the web is part of the Microsoft 365 subscription suite of online apps. It updates to the most current version automatically every time you sign in.
To find the build number:

Go to File and select Info to see the Build version.
