When PivotTables don't sort as expected.

Here are some tips to use when PivotTables don't sort as expected: 

• Right-click the heading of the column you want to sort. Then select Sort > More Sort Options. Select Ascending or Descending. Then choose the field you want to sort by from the drop-down list.

• Select a cell in the PivotTable, then on the PivotTable Analyze tab, select  Options. On the Totals & Filters tab, uncheck Use Custom Lists when sorting.

You can, however, set options and other features on PivotTables in the Excel desktop app.
