If your Surface won’t turn on, turns on then off, or starts but gets stuck on a screen—a black screen, a screen with a logo, or another screen—try the following to get it working:
-
Disconnect accessories and make sure your Surface is charged.
-
Disconnect all accessories or anything you have connected to your Surface. Then try turning it on.
-
If that works, the accessories may be the problem.
-
If that didn't work, connect the power supply that was designed for your Surface and charge it for at least 15 minutes. Close and reopen the lid or keyboard, then press the power button to turn on your Surface. If the LED light on your Surface Connect charger is blinking, flashing, or off, see What to do if your Surface power supply or charger doesn’t work.

Press the Windows logo  key + Ctrl + Shift + B.
