Check Windows updates to keep your device running smoothly. To automatically update, select Check for Windows updates.
If you want to manually update, here's how:

For Windows 11, select Start > Settings > Windows Update.

For Windows 10, select the Start  button, and then go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
You may need to restart your device to install Surface and Windows updates. For more info, you can visit Download drivers and firmware for Surface.
