Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have some Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based fault-tolerant servers (that is, servers that have redundant hardware failover capabilities). For example, you have Stratus ftServer Draco servers or NEC ftServer Draco servers.

You have security update 2862330 installed on the servers.

You try to fail over USB devices on the servers.
In this scenario, the servers crash. Additionally, you receive a Stop error message that resembles the following:
