Symptoms
When you run the Void Item function to void a deposit transaction of a customer account in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail 2009, you receive the following error message:
An error occurred in the operation.
However, the error message does not provide the detailed information. You expect the error message that resembles the following:
This operation is not valid for this type of transaction.

Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, start Retail POS and, on the logon screen, verify that the release number is 5.0.1506.1112.
