This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for all regions.

Symptoms

Assume that you create a free text invoice line in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. When you select a billing code that contains a rate script, you receive the following stack trace error message:

Error executing code: CustBillingManagedCodeExecutor object not initialized.

Additionally, the invoice line amount is not calculated.

Cause

This problem occurs because the rate script that is contained in the billing code is not recompiled afterward.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in Cumulative Update 2 for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

Note The hotfix replaces the stack trace error message by using a friendly error message that tells the user to contact a system administrator. The system administrator is instructed to recompile the rate script for the billing code.

Workaround

To work around this problem, compile the rate script for the billing code.

Status
