"Error: Unable to determine the identity of domain." when you import Persistent Chat data in Lync Server 2013

Symptoms

When you run the Import-CsPersistentChatData command to migrate the exported data to Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat server, the operation fails and you receive error messages that resemble the following:

Error: Unable to determine the identity of domain.

Error: An error occurred: "System.ObjectDisposedException" "Can not access a closed Stream."

Cause

This issue occurs because the input data size has exceeded the 10,000 item limitation.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the August 2016 cumulative update 5.0.8308.965 for Lync Server 2013.
