Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a computer that uses the mobile broadband connection.

You remove a SIM card from the computer.
-
You insert a SIM card again.
In this scenario, even if the SIM card is detected by the adapter, the View Available Networks UI (VAN UI) still shows Insert a SIM text until the network connection is established. After you install this update, the VAN UI shows No service text until the network connection is established.
Resolution
