Symptoms
Assume that you enable the Brazil Nota Fiscal Eletrônica (NF-e) functionality in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Brazilian localization layer installed. You receive an XML file from the Bahia State web service version 2.0. In this situation, when the system reads the XML file, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Unable to find node /x:retEnviNFe/x:dhRecbto in the message.
Cause
This problem occurs because the XML file received from the Bahia State web service version 2.0 does not contain the <dhRecebto> tag. However, the tag is included in the schema definition that is used to validate the created XML file.
Resolution
Hotfix Information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 service pack or the next version that contains this hotfix.

Installation information
Before you install this hotfix, verify that the Microsoft Dynamics AX client users are logged off the system. You should be the only client user who is logged on when you implement this hotfix.
To implement this hotfix, you must have a developer license.
Note We recommend that the user account in the Windows Logins window or in the Database Logins window be a member of the Administrators User group in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

Open the Application Object Tree (AOT).

Open the Classes node.

Localize and open the EFDocMsgFormat_XmlSubmitV2_BR class.

Click the read() method.

Comment the following line by using two slashes (//):
// returnDateTime = this.getNodeContent('/x:retEnviNFe/x:dhRecbto'); -
Click Save and compile the class.
Prerequisites
You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Brazil Nota Fiscal Eletrônica localization update and the Brazilian localization layer installed installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
