Introduction
This article describes a country-specific update for Thailand to comply with Thai Revenue Department certification requirements in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 was updated to meet the requirements of Thai users. Therefore, the following changes were made:

Management of tax branches through Financial Dimensions

Management of Average value-added tax (VAT)

Management of Unrealized and Realized VAT
-
Management of Withholding tax
-
Printing of the Stock Card report

Management of the Thailand Revenue Department certification details, which contain the following:

The Help About form that contains the following:

The Software House ID for Microsoft (0524), which means that Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is certified by the Thailand Revenue Department

Links to three Microsoft Visio diagrams that cover the tax setup and the tax document flows

The Checklist Module that allows for each partner to enter the Microsoft next customer number in line

Prerequisites
You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
File information
The Thai version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.

More Information
To verify that the Thai applicable features are enabled, follow these steps:
-
Open Organization Management, and in the Setup section, click Organization, and then click Legal entity.

Verify that the Address (Primary address) field is set to Thailand.
-
Open System Administration, and in the Setup section, click License configuration, expand General ledger, and then expand Sales tax.
-
Verify that the configuration key for the Thailand government certification is enabled.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
