Copilot Pro subscribers can use Copilot in the web apps (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) without a separate Microsoft 365 subscription.

If you also have a subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family, you will have Copilot in the Windows or Mac versions of Word, Excel (Preview), PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.

If you have those subscriptions and aren't seeing Copilot in your Microsoft 365 apps:

  • You may need to refresh your Microsoft 365 apps.

  • Ensure you are logged into your Microsoft 365 app with the same Microsoft account that is subscribed to both Microsoft 365 and Copilot Pro.

On Windows, open any Microsoft 365 app and go to File > Account to see what account you're signed in with, and switch to a different account if necessary.

On macOS, the account you're signed in with appears near the top left of the File > Open window. On OneNote it appears at the bottom left corner of the screen.

With Microsoft Designer you get 15 free boosts per day to create images faster. When you subscribe to Copilot Pro that number goes to 100 per day. After you've used your boosts for the day you can continue to create images, it'll just be a little slower. Learn more about Microsoft Designer
