Note: The screenshots in this article are from Clipchamp for personal accounts but stock assets are also being made available in Clipchamp's work version. The availability of some collections and some specific stock assets can be different between Clipchamp for personal accounts and Clipchamp for work accounts.

Clipchamp works with high-quality stock media providers to offer thousands of stock videos, graphics, images, audio, and backgrounds. This article focusses on stock videos, graphics, and backgrounds.

If you're on the basic account tier, you can add stock video assets while working on your project. You can also export these projects if they only contain stock assets that are marked as Free or Free to use.

If your project contains premium stock assets (they are marked with a diamond icon), you need to be on a license that includes access to premium stock assets before you can export the video.

How to add stock videos to your project

Step 1. Select the stock video tab

Click the stock video tab in the left sidebar.

Exporting a project with stock videos

Select the Export button to save the completed video to your computer. To export a video that includes premium stock items, you need to be on a license that grants access to premium assets.

License and Terms of Use

When you're on a license plan that includes access to stock media, you are allowed to incorporate stock video, image and audio assets in videos that you save from Clipchamp. This includes both projects that you create for commercial and non-commercial purposes.

However, you may not download and redistribute the individual underlying stock files, use them in other editing programs, or share or sell them.
