Problem description
In Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, an e-mail message does not appear in a user's mailbox if the e-mail message was sent on behalf of the user by a delegate.
Steps to resolve this problem
To resolve this problem, apply hotfix package 953803, and then enable the hotfix package. To do this, follow these steps:

Enable the hotfix package on the delegate's computer.Fix it for me" section. To enable the hotfix yourself, go to the "Let me fix it myself" section.

Click Start , type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Preferences

On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.

Type DelegateSentItemsStyle, and then press ENTER.

Right-click DelegateSentItemsStyle, and then click Modify.

In the Value data box, type 1 , and then click OK.

Exit Registry Editor.

Make sure that the following items are true:

The delegate has Reviewer permissions for the Mailbox of the manager.

The delegate has Author permissions for the Sent Items folder of the manager.
-
The manager's mailbox is added as an additional mailbox in the delegate's Outlook profile.
Note Use Microsoft Outlook to set permissions for the manager's Mailbox and for the Sent Items folder. To do this, log on to the manager's mailbox, right-click the folder for which you want to configure permissions, and then click Properties. Then, enable the appropriate permissions on the Permissions tab.

Note This feature only works consistenly in Outlook Cached Mode.
