Symptoms

Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 currently supports the multidimensional, multirow input with DB2 for z/OS feature. However, Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 v3 does not support this feature. (Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 v3 is included as part of the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Feature Pack.)

This fix updates Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 v3 to support the following when they are used together with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services:

  • The multidimensional, multirow input with DB2 for z/OS feature

  • DB2 LUW
