Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You type a word on a Windows 8.1-based computer by using the touch keyboard or a Type Cover.

  • The word is recognized as incorrect by the autocorrection feature, and is corrected to another word.

  • You press backspace to undo the correction.

  • You type the word again.

In this scenario, the autocorrection feature still corrects the word to other words.
