The Posts page offers a quick way to manage, monitor and edit leaders' Viva Engage posts, including any posts submitted by delegates. Community managers, leaders, and admins can check the status and engagement levels of posts, see when they're posted or when they'll post, and even perform editing tasks.

You can also quickly evaluate the performance metrics for any post.

What the Posts page does

The Posts page provides a feed to view the history of all your published posts, your drafts, and scheduled posts with quick access to analytics for any post. Posts also gives access to content creation features in the dashboard and to analytics for any post.

The Posts page offers filters to search for and view posts that you've published, drafted and scheduled on yours and others' behalf.

As a delegator, use the Created by and Owned by filters to see lists of posts published on your behalf or those you've produced.

Select New post to create a new post as a delegator or a delegate directly on the page.

Note: The Posts page shows the related history of posting activity retroactive to May 2025.

The default Posted view shows the chronological list of Engage posts by all network participants. To quickly see performance and engagement for any post, you can also select the Analytics icon under Actions for any published post.

Note:  Drafts and Scheduled posts won't show analytics.

Filtering to search for specific posts and users

You can filter by a single username, including your own or any delegate or owner.

You can filter the Posts list by the following criteria:

  • Created by lists all posts by yourself and your delegates. Select a delegate to see the list of their activity. As a leader, if you haven't created any posts in Viva Engage, or if none of your delegates have done so, the Created by option isn't visible. 

  • Owned by lists posts by yourself and the leaders for whom you're a delegate. Selecting a person from this list reduces it to those associated with a particular leader.

Select any name from either dropdown to see their published posts history from most recent at the top.

Note: As a leader/delegator, you won't see drafts or scheduled posts written on your behalf until they are published, so you'll only see the Owned by filter in those subsections.

Posts page actions

The main page's Actions menu offers a selection of useful tools to manage and work with posts:

  • Edit the existing post

  • Copy the link for the post for sharing in a different location

  • Feature the conversation

  • Delete the post

  • Close the conversation but leave it in place

  • Mute the post conversation

Post page context menu

Select the Analytics icon to open Conversation analytics for the active post.

Viewing drafts

Select Drafts to see any community posts you're working on. Created by and Owned by filters also work in this context.

For drafts, you can select the Edit icon to open the editing page, or select the More menu for a post to post the draft or delete it.

You can also create a new post from this view.

Checking scheduled posts

Select Scheduled to see all community posts scheduled by yourself and others.

You can access the editing features through the More menu for any post, post immediately, or delete it. Select the clock icon to re-schedule the post.

Options to work with scheduled posts before they go live

Users can create posts from any location in Viva Engage and that work is immediately visible in the Posts page.
