• Copilot in Microsoft 365:
  New learning paths for Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

• Agents and advanced productivity:
  Use pre-built agents, including Researcher and Analyst, to streamline complex tasks.

• Role-based learning:
  New tailored paths for Communications, Customer service, Executives, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.

About Copilot Academy

Copilot Academy is accessible through Viva Learning on the web or in Microsoft Teams. Copilot Academy brings together short courses, videos, deeper learning, and best practices—all in one place. With regularly updated content and role‑based guidance, it’s designed to spark ideas, streamline your workflow, and support continuous learning at your own pace.

Copilot Academy is available to Microsoft 365 users through work or school accounts and supports multiple languages. It’s organized into sections, each containing learning paths with individual courses. These paths are designed for flexibility—you don’t need to complete them in order. Pick what’s relevant to your role and your goals.

How Copilot Academy is organized

• Sections: Broad categories such as Get started with Copilot, Advanced prompting techniques, and Role-based learning.

• Learning paths: Groups of related courses within each section such as Get started with Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat.

• Courses: Individual microlearning or deeper learning modules that you can complete in any order.

Get started in Copilot Academy

1. Open Viva Learning either on the web or in Microsoft Teams.

2. If this is your first time using Copilot Academy, select the Academies tab, and then select Microsoft Copilot Academy.​​​​​​​

3. Browse the sections in Copilot Academy and then choose a learning path that matches your role or interest.
   
   

4. Select the course you want to start with. You don’t have to finish it all at once.

Track your progress and stay engaged

• When you’re done with a course, mark it as completed.
  
  

• When you complete all the courses in a learning path, the learning path is automatically marked as completed.
  
  

• Bookmark courses so you can easily return to them later or keep track of items you want to learn next.
  
  

• Share course links with coworkers to support collaborative learning and help your team build skills together.
  
  

• Like all of your learning, your progress is tracked in Viva Learning under the My Learning tab.
